These Terms of Service govern your engagement with Mohab (mohab.design), an independent product and brand designer based in Cairo, Egypt. By starting a project, booking a call, or paying an invoice, you agree to the terms below.

1. The service

Mohab provides product design, brand design, and web design and build work, delivered by Mohab directly. The specific deliverables, timeline, and scope of each engagement are agreed in writing before work begins. Mohab works as an independent contractor, not an employee, agency, or partner of the client.

2. Pricing and payment

Work is offered on a flat monthly retainer at the rate shown on the pricing section of this site. Payment is due in advance at the start of each monthly cycle and is processed via the agreed payment method. You may pause or cancel at any time, and billing then stops at the end of the current paid cycle. Fees already paid for delivered or in-progress work are non-refundable except where required by law. Late or failed payments may pause active work until resolved.

3. Scope and revisions

Reasonable revisions are included within the agreed scope of each engagement. Requests that materially expand the original brief, such as new pages, additional products, or a change of direction, are treated as new work and may adjust the timeline or fee. Mohab will always confirm any such change with you before proceeding.

4. Client responsibilities

To keep the work moving, you agree to provide the content, assets, brand materials, and access needed in a timely manner, to give clear and consolidated feedback, and to warrant that any materials you supply do not infringe the intellectual property or other rights of third parties.

5. Ownership and intellectual property

Upon receipt of full payment, ownership of the final delivered work transfers to you for its intended use. Mohab retains ownership of preliminary concepts, working files, and any tools, systems, or components used to produce the work, along with the right to display the completed work in a portfolio, case studies, and promotional materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. Confidentiality

Each party agrees to keep the other’s non-public information confidential and to use it only for the purpose of the engagement.

7. Timelines

Mohab commits to agreed start dates and milestones in good faith. Delays caused by late feedback, missing materials, or changes in scope will extend the timeline accordingly.

8. Cancellation and pausing

Either party may pause or end the engagement with seven days’ written notice. On cancellation, you will receive all work completed and paid for up to the effective date.

9. Limitation of liability

The work is provided on a best-effort professional basis, without warranties of any kind beyond those that cannot be excluded by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mohab’s total liability for any claim arising from the engagement is limited to the fees you paid in the one month preceding the claim. Mohab is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and any disputes will be subject to the courts of Cairo.

11. Changes to these terms

Mohab may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised last-updated date, and continuing to work together after that constitutes acceptance.
